
UNIDEMI was represented at European Researchers’ Night through an activity coordinated by Researcher Ana Teresa Gabriel, with the collaboration of Researcher Aneesh Zutshi, Master Mariana Peroyteo and Professor Victor Ionita. They presented practical applications of motion capture technology in the field of ergonomics, demonstrating how data-driven solutions can contribute to transforming work environments, fostering healthier and more sustainable workplaces. During the activity, motion capture sensors were used to provide a real-time analysis of body posture, highlighting the potential impact of technological advances in the field of ergonomics.
The European Researchers’ Night is an international event taking place simultaneously in 460 cities across 25 European countries, serving as a privileged platform for interaction between the scientific community and citizens, and reinforcing the recognition of science as a central element in everyday life.
