The public doctoral examination in Mechanical Engineering of André Geraldes Mourato will take place on December 18, at 10:00 a.m., in the Sala de Atos of Building IV, as part of the doctoral program.
During the session, the candidate will present and defend the thesis entitled “A computational and deep learning framework for fluid-structure interaction in ascending thoracic aortic aneurysms”, in which an advanced computational framework is proposed, based on numerical modeling techniques and deep learning, applied to the study of fluid-structure interaction in ascending thoracic aortic aneurysms.
The examination will be held before an academic jury and is open to the public, welcoming the participation of all interested parties.
