On the upcoming December 9th, at 2:30 p.m., the doctoral examination of Catarina Dias dos Santos will take place in the Sala de Atos of Building IV at NOVA FCT, entitled “Development of a Fuzzy Model to Support Ergonomic Analysis of Lower Limbs and Define Requirements for an Exoskeleton.”
Catarina Dias dos Santos research focuses on the development of an innovative fuzzy model that supports the ergonomic analysis of the lower limbs and contributes to defining the requirements needed for designing an exoskeleton.
The work proposes a multidisciplinary approach that combines ergonomics, advanced modeling, and technologies that support human movement, aiming to improve the assessment of physical effort and optimize motor assistance solutions.
