
The thesis, entitled “Risk Management in R&D Programs and Projects”, addresses the main approaches, methodologies, and challenges related to the identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks in research and development (R&D) contexts. The work focuses on improving decision-making processes and increasing the likelihood of success of R&D programs and projects, considering their high levels of uncertainty, complexity, and strategic impact.
The PhD candidate is supervised by Professor Alexandra Tenera, and the session of the Thesis Monitoring Committee will be chaired by Professor António Grilo. The CAT will include the participation of the committee members, allowing for discussion of the progress of the research as well as the presentation of recommendations for its future development.
The session will be held in person, reinforcing the academic and scientific significance of this milestone, which represents an important stage in the doctoral journey of the researcher.
