
The thesis, titled “Spare parts management model in a maintenance 5.0 environment” proposes a flexible spare parts management model for Maintenance 5.0, enhancing resilience and sustainability. It automates policy selection using an ABC-XYZ analysis within an MRP system, reducing manual effort, errors and improving efficiency.
The research is being supervised by Prof. Dr. Helena Guitiss Navas and Prof. Dr. Pedro Espadinha da Cruz from NOVA FCT, whose expertise in industrial engineering and maintenance management provides valuable guidance in developing a robust and sustainable model.
