The thesis, titled “Evaluation of Digital Implementation in Hospitals Ebserh University Students: An Integrated VSM Approach, TD-ABC and BPMN,” proposes an integrated approach to assess digital transformation in healthcare settings. By combining Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TD-ABC), and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), the study offers a comprehensive framework to analyze efficiency, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
The research is being supervised by Prof. Dr. Luís Lapão from IHMT – Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Prof. Dr. Radu Godina from NOVA FCT, whose expertise in health informatics and industrial engineering provides valuable guidance in developing a rigorous and impactful analysis.
