DEMI Talks May 2019


It was on May 8th that another edition of DEMI Talks took place, an initiative promoted by UNIDEMI with the aim of all researchers being able to learn about the research work being carried out by their colleagues and the results arising from them.

Sometimes researchers or other types of professionals who develop work that may be related to the areas of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering are also invited.
In this DEMI Talk, the following topics were presented:
– “Supply chain applied to industry 4.0” – Inês Ferreira (PhD Industrial Engineering / UNIDEMI)
– “Additive manufacturing of metals” – Valdemar Duarte (PhD Mechanical Engineering / UNIDEMI)
– “Neural Netorwks” – Prof. Rui Rodrigues ( Professor at NOVA FCT Mathematics Department and researcher of CMA)
