Conclusion | PhD in Mechanical Engineering by Ana Patrícia Martins

The study proposes new simulation approaches capable of optimizing certification processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency in the development of aeronautical components.

The doctoral examination of Ana Patrícia Martins, candidate for the PhD in Mechanical Engineering, took place on 10 December, at 2:30 p.m., in the Sala de Atos of Building IV. The candidate presented and publicly defended her thesis entitled “Development of Integrated Structural-Safety Numerical Models for Aeronautic Prototype Certification of Passenger Cabin Interior Structures”, a work dedicated to the development of integrated numerical models for the structural and safety certification of aeronautical prototypes.

The session was attended by a jury composed of distinguished members:

The President of the Jury was Dr. Telmo G. dos Santos, Full Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology of NOVA University Lisbon.
