The PhD examination in Mechanical Engineering of Ana Patrícia Martins will take place on December 10, at 2:30 p.m., in the Sala de Atos of Building IV, NOVA FCT. The candidate will present and defend her dissertation entitled:
“Development of Integrated Structural-Safety Numerical Models for Aeronautic Prototype Certification of Passenger Cabin Interior Structures.”
This research focuses on the development of advanced numerical models that integrate structural performance and safety requirements for the certification of aeronautical prototypes, with particular emphasis on passenger cabin interior structures.
The study proposes new simulation approaches capable of optimizing certification processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency in the development of aeronautical components.
