
Dr. Isabel Nunes, a researcher at UNIDEMI, has been elected First Secretary of the General Assembly Board of the Portuguese Society for Occupational Safety and Hygiene (SPSHO) for the 2026–2029 term.
The elections for the governing bodies of the SPSHO were held in July 2026, with the new members elected to oversee the management of the association’s various governing bodies over the next three years.
The Portuguese Society for Occupational Safety and Hygiene (SPSHO) is an association dedicated to promoting safety, health and hygiene in the workplace, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and good practices in these areas. SPSHO brings together professionals, researchers and other specialists, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.
The election of this UNIDEMI researcher further strengthens the connection between scientific research and society and the professional community, through active participation in leading organisations within her field of expertise.
