UNIDEMI hosts international talks on Structural Dynamics

As part of an Erasmus+ Staff Mobility initiative, UNIDEMI researcher Tiago Silva is organising a series of talks at NOVA FCT, welcoming two researchers from Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Engineering (Reșița, Romania) to the Structural Mechanics Lab.

The sessions will focus on structural dynamics, with particular emphasis on the dynamic behaviour and vibratory response of systems and structures, bringing together experimental, analytical and numerical approaches.

The programme features talks by Associate Professor Zoltan-Iosif Korka, Director of the Mechanical Engineering Doctoral School and Head of the Center for Vibrodiagnosis, Equipment Testing and Automation (CVDTEA), and Full Professor Gilbert-Rainer Gillich, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and President of the Vibration Based Mechanical System Diagnosis Committee (ISMSD).
