
UNIDEMI researcher Victor Ioniță is the coordinator of one of the projects approved in the international MSCA Doctoral Networks 2025 call, promoted by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe programme.
The project, titled UNIQUE – University Network for Industrial Quality, aUtomation, Ecology and Excellence, focuses on advanced doctoral training in the fields of industrial quality, automation, and sustainability, involving an international consortium that brings together academic institutions and industry partners.
The approval of this proposal represents an important recognition of UNIDEMI’s scientific quality and its capacity for international coordination, strengthening its position as a leading research unit in these areas. The project coordinated by Victor Ioniță will contribute to the training of highly qualified researchers, promoting the link between academic research and industrial application.
In the same call, NOVA FCT achieved an outstanding overall performance, with six projects approved out of 21 submitted proposals, corresponding to a success rate of 28.6%, significantly higher than the European average. Among the approved projects are two coordinated by the institution, one of which is led by Victor Ioniță.
The results now announced highlight the high level of competitiveness of the MSCA Doctoral Networks programme, in which 138 projects were approved from more than 1,600 eligible applications across Europe.
