Materials Handling Systems (MHS)

 

 

What it is

 

Movement of raw materials from their native site to the point of use in manufacturing, their subsequent manipulation, as semi-finished goods, in production processes, the transfer of finished products from factories, their distribution to users, and disposal of scrap.

 

Services provided:

 

 

Research

-       Handling and transportation in manufac-turing and warehousing environments

-       Automation and instrumentation equipment for the control and protection of materials, goods and products, to support logistics and the supply chain.

 

Training

Courses at MSc & PhD level, Post-graduation programs and In-company courses on:

-       Define the needs, strategic performance objectives and functional requirement MHS.

-       Optimization of MHS reducing, combining, shortening or eliminating unnecessary movement that will impede productivity.

-       Analysis of MHS life cycle costs.
